Mohamed Shaamil Shakeer

Mohamed Shaamil is a dynamic, passionate junior lawyer with a passion for commercial arbitration and corporate law. His impressive academic background includes recently graduating with a 2:1 with Honours from Staffordshire University and earning a Merit in International Business Law from Middlesex University Dubai.
He has completed extensive internships at prestigious institutions such as the DIFC Courts and Hassan Al Reyami. During these internships, he worked on a variety of legal matters spanning multiple branches of law, including corporate, alternate dispute resolution, arbitration, TMT, and litigation.
Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Mohamed has also made contributions to the field of legal practice. He was trained by the CLDP for the Willem C Vis Moot, participating as a mootie in 2019. Following this, he transitioned into a coaching role, training students at various universities. His commitment to fostering legal talent is further demonstrated by his active involvement in the launch of the MENA Vis Network and the Abu Dhabi MENA Vis Pre Moot in 2024.
Looking ahead, Mohamed Shaamil is set to continue his professional development by pursuing the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). His goal is to qualify as a solicitor in the near future, further enhancing his legal expertise and the value he brings to our community.
