Khulood is an Associate in the Litigation practice at our Muscat office.

A practicing lawyer since 2016, she has experience across a wide range of legal matters including commercial, labor, rental, civil and select criminal cases. She is fluent in Arabic and English and is qualified to draft legal documents and provide legal advice to clients in both the public and private sectors.

Her legal work covers the full litigation process from providing legal opinions and advice to representing clients through to the issuance of final judgments. She regularly appears before both the Primary and Appeal Courts and handles all related procedures within the courts and with other governmental and legal entities.

Before joining BSA, Khulood spent two and a half years at a local law firm in Oman where she successfully litigated several commercial cases, securing favorable outcomes through negotiation and swift settlements. She also works in the field of commercial arbitration and provides ongoing and urgent legal support while keeping clients informed on the progress of their cases.

Khulood holds an LLB from the College of Law at Sultan Qaboos University.

  • Represented a contractor in multiple arbitration proceedings involving high-value subcontracting agreements worth thousands of Omani Rials. The disputes included claims for unpaid dues, delays and variations. Successfully secured arbitral awards in favor of the client.
  • Handled numerous eviction cases on behalf of major retail landlords due to non-payment of rent and breach of lease terms. Obtained final court judgments and enforced delivery of premises through court orders.
  • Represented an oil services company in around 100 labor cases filed by employees seeking additional allowances and overtime pay. All claims were dismissed by the Primary and Appeal Courts due to lack of legal basis. In other matters, negotiated favorable settlements in various labor disputes. Also represented employees in claims for unpaid wages, end-of-service benefits and wrongful termination, securing full judgments in their favor including compensation for damages.
  • Managed a range of commercial disputes for multiple companies. Cases included claims for unpaid dues under equipment rental contracts, subcontracting agreements for aluminum and glass works and disputes under main construction contracts. Achieved favorable court judgments or resolved matters through settlement, depending on the case.
  • Served as counsel in several commercial arbitration cases, representing both claimants and respondents in high-value contractual disputes. Secured arbitral awards in favor of clients in every case. Matters involved breaches of commercial contracts and payment defaults, reflecting strong advocacy and command of arbitration procedures.
  • Defended a company in a criminal case concerning alleged failure to deliver services. The court acquitted the client. Also represented a company in the energy sector in a case involving non-compliance with national workforce regulations. The court ruled in favor of the client due to lack of evidence.
